Terms of Service
Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
These terms govern your use of Floaty.dev ("Floaty", "the service", "we"). By using the service you agree to them.
The Service
Floaty is a browser-based JavaScript game engine. You can write, run, and share small games and playgrounds directly in the browser. The service is provided as-is, free of charge.
Your Account
You sign in via a third-party provider (GitHub or Google). You are responsible for anything that happens under your account. If you notice unauthorised access, let us know.
We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.
Content You Create
Playgrounds and plugins you create belong to you. By making content public you grant Floaty a licence to display it on the site. You can delete your content at any time.
You must not post content that:
- infringes someone else's copyright or other rights
- is abusive, harassing, or harmful to others
- contains malware or intentionally malicious code
Acceptable Use
You must not attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the service. Automated scraping beyond normal browsing is not permitted without prior agreement.
No Warranty
Floaty is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, data retention, or fitness for any particular purpose.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the new terms. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
